Valerie Piper

Valerie resides in Collingswood with her husband Dan and two sons, and they have lived here since 2004. She has been an active member of the community through the years by serving on the Collingswood Zoning Board, managing the Zane North Green Team, gardening at the Washington Avenue Community Garden, and volunteering for various Collingswood School District and Club fundraisers.

 Valerie has a city planning and government compliance background and joined PhilaPort-Port of Philadelphia in 2022 to work on funding maritime and freight capital projects. Her career has spanned nearly three decades in roles to serve the public’s interests in community park and recreation, land use, and economic development. 

Valerie seeks an opportunity on the County Committee to represent the Collingswood community’s Democratic interests and to increase voter engagement and participation.
